Be warned that this is a 2 part story. So if you're checking it out of the library see if you can get "Guilty as Sin" as well. Small towns are seen as a haven from modern day influences-fast lane, burnout, deterioration of family, increased crime etc...So when a young boy disappears from Deer Lake, the whole town is shaken. The abductor leaves strange notes and toys with the police. Easy reading, and you are bound to guess who the criminal is.
